Is the Nature of Humankind Good or Evil?

The nature of humankind is good.  Since the beginning of time, humans have worked to help mankind.  In order to live in a world that is peaceful and principled, we have worked at achieving an understanding of the human soul.

Corruption is another word for evil.  If someone is corrupt, they get bad thoughts in their head and turn evil.  Power, wealth, religion, and fame can corrupt someone.  But this is the reason why people are good, because we try to stop corruption and evil.  We unite together as one and try to fight back.

No one is pure evil.  Even if someone plans something that bad or will hurt someone, there always will be people who love and help him or her.  When the World Trade Center was collapsing, a complete stranger helped a wheel chaired lady eighty floors down to safety.  This is an example of the spirit of the good in human nature.  When America was struck by terrorism, all countries formed an alliance and helped us when we needed it most.  Also, day and night firefighters and police officers worked to find loved ones just for the people.   This shows how we unite and fight corruption in an effort to be one people, one kind.

There is only one solution to stopping corruption.  The solution is to talk things out, and not use violence to solve a problem.  If we could only come to an understanding of one another, we could get that much closer to achieving world peace.  Just a single handshake could take out corruption faster.  We should not let people fight in wars while both sides just get more livid.  When a war is stopped, you would think the world would be a better place to live in, but it is not true.  War creates corruption.  We are good people and that is why there should be verbal communication before a battle is fought.  By understanding human nature thoroughly, we could eliminate corruption; therefore, the solution lies in our minds and in our hearts, which will ultimately create a heaven here on earth.

Another key factor in believing in ourselves lies in our faith, our religion.  Religion exists in many forms and regardless of which religion we believes in our faith in God, the Almighty, has helped us over the years to overcome evil and live for only good.

I think society is like the stock market, going up and down forever and ever.  So in twenty years, we will still be in the same place as we are today.  In other words, I think society is headed in the wrong direction.  There are ways we can help society go back in the right direction.  Such as eliminating antagonism towards other nations and, rather, becoming like one.  Because we really are just one people, if we could only look past petty differences and see, we could open our minds and open our hearts to the world around us.

My points have shown that by trying to overcome corruption and evil, we will create a serene land as one nation.  We all need to work hard to become better people so we can all live in a peaceful and wonderful world.  That is why I believe that the nature of humankind is, and has always been, good.
