New York Humankind The Nature of humankind is good for these reasons. One way, since September 11th, people have pulled together, and been nicer to one another. For example, if somebody drops a dollar, usually a person would just pick it up and run, but now they would pick it up and give it back to the person. Another way, people are more accepting of other people. For example, if you don’t like somebody because of their religion; you have to be open minded, and try to accept this person. Maybe you’ll end up being friends with the person, if you give it a chance, it just might work. Last way, also people have shared more now than before September 11. People have given money, can goods, and food to the Salvation Army and other organizations. Also, people have been having fund raisers for the families of the victims, and they also have been raising money for the NYPD and the FDNY. If those aren’t good deeds, what are? As you can see, New Yorkers, and humanity are the best when we hit tough times.
