Truth or beauty: Which has more impact on society?

When I was in kindergarten I was bullied. I thought to myself inner beauty is what counts. Not what I look like on the outside but to be judged by character. As I thought about it I thought to stand up for myself and my society. Now I stand up for both. As I grew older I started to think about everything: good character and also about beauty. Now I think about those two things. And to walk in the right path.
