Knowledge or Imagination?

I think knowledge has a greater impact on society than imagination. My point? Even though knowledge of the truth may be sad and even disturbing, still it is knowledge that leads to imagination and creation.

For example, Michelangelo was a great sculptor who definitely used imagination, but he had to have knowledge behind that imagination.

When he sculpted people, he had to have knowledge of the human body first. (He gained some of that knowledge from dissecting dead bodies!)

So now I come to my conclusion. Even though people like imagination, you need knowledge first or you would not have anything!

Knowledge is the beginning of all human activity, including imagination. Without knowledge, we would not even be able to see what to imagine!
