2018 – Most Philosophical 2nd Grader in America

Rohit Vankamamidi, Minnesota.

I think truth is more pwerful than deceit because if you lie people will distrust you every time when you speak the truth. For example, in the story the boy who cried wolf, the boy always cried wolf and he thought it was funny. Then when a real wolf came and he cried wolf again, nobody came to help him. Truth affects me and other people because it helps others know who to trust. If I deceived someone I'd feel bad for what I did. If I told the truth I'd fell good and glad I fixed the problem. When I grow up I want to be a person that tells the truth because then I'll be able to help other people and they will trust me. And this is why I think truth is more powerful.
