Ones may come back.
In the time of war, one letter can bring pails full of hope
To those who read it.
In the time of war, soldiers are separated from their families.
In the time of war, spouses worry that their husbands
Will return.
In the time of war, patriots hope for freedom.
In the time of war, friends wish to remain friends,
In the time of war,
And me, hoping to stop all thoughts of war so there
May be peace on earth.
